I also need the class action lawsuit information here in Slidell, Louisiana. I live in Baldwin County, AL and recently purchased a DR Horton home and closed late April. Shoddy workmanship is to say the least. Submitted multiple claims, of which only a couple have been completed, including cracked driveway and sidewalk already, which they said isn’t warranted? I also can tell things not being level, as my dogs ball will roll continue rolling until it hits a wall.

The primary suite features a soaking tub, separate tile... I purchased my dr horton home june 2021 and it is in Baldwin county. Closing was pushed out twice costing me a ton . Had to do final walk through the day I closed and at this point, i had no where to live so i went forward even though there were major issues. The garage door was installed incorrectly and there were beer bottles from the workers all over the garage (yes, I have pics!). The dishwasher was installed crooked so it doesn’t close and water floods the kitchen .

I just purchased my home in May of 2021. It has only been 1 year & my wall is splitting. I have put in several warranty requests & they are avoiding me. They sent one man out whom did not speak English so the communication was horrible. My husband and I purchased a Dr. Horton/Freedom home on Oct. 31, 2019. Issues with have had or are having….flooring, wiring, humidity, HVAC, infestiation….etc..
Same issues with DR Horton in South Florida. Others in neighborhood are experiencing the same in addition to roof leaks and cracks in foundation, walls and roofing. A total of 88 homeowners are seeking damages that will allow them to fix their homes so that they are up to code, including new windows, roof gables and foundations. Homeowners allege their residences were not built on proper foundations and were made with poor materials.
